If you are 16-18, out of school, and want to get a GED:

• You may attend the TLC after withdrawing from or being expelled from high school.

• You may enter any time of the year and attend morning or afternoon classes, working at your own pace in a comfortable place. 

• No grades or credits are given, and the classes are small.

• You may take your GED exam any time of the year, provided you are at least 16, can pass the pre-GED test, and have obtained an exit interview from the last high school you attended signed by the principal and the Superintendent of Schools.
  
  NOTE: Teens do morning GED testing only, unless they have special permission from the Director to take an evening exam.

If you are home-schooled and would like some advice or assistance:

• You can get check-up tests that point out strong and weak areas, as well as a pre-GED test.
   
• You and the teacher can create individualized study plans.
  
  
• You can borrow learning materials and get progress updates.
  
  
• You may take your GED exam any time of the year, provided you are at least 16, can pass the pre-GED test, and have obtained an exit interview signed by the home school administrator and the Superintendent of Schools.
